The Calispell PowerhouseThe Calispell Powerhouse, originally known as the Dalkena Generating Station, is located on Calispell Creek, near Power Lake Dam. The plant was originally built in 1920 by the Dalkena Power Company for use by the town of Dalkena and its sawmill.

Sullivan Creek Project
The Sullivan Creek Project located near Metaline Falls, WA includes the Sullivan Lake Dam, Outlet Creek, Sullivan Creek, Mill Pond, Mill Pond Dam, and the Sullivan Creek Powerhouse. The Sullivan Creek Project was constructed in 1909 by the Inland Portland Cement Company.

During the summer months, our staff would be happy to discuss our electric generation facility with you. Tours begin in the Visitor Center with an explanation and demonstration of how electricity is generated at Box Canyon Dam.

While the majority of our customers get their electricity from the PUD, a handful of customers have chosen to install customer-owned generators in order to supply some, or all, of their electricity needs.

Industrial Service is available to customers in Pend Oreille County. Our Industrial Customers at the PUD all fall under a negotiated service and rates contract to fit their needs.
