Meeting Information

The PUD’s Board Meetings are held virtually via Microsoft Teams as well as in-person in Newport or at Box Canyon.

We invite the public to attend the meeting remotely.  You can join from your computer, tablet, or smartphone using this link: Board Meeting. You can also dial in at (802) 673-1244 using Access Code: 882 085 132#.   

The Board of Commissioners typically meet at 8:30 a.m. on the first and third Tuesday of each month in Newport and at 8:30 a.m. on any fifth Tuesday of the month at Box Canyon Dam. The public is encouraged to attend these meetings. You may call (509) 447-3137 to verify the time, date, and agenda of the next meeting or view our upcoming meeting agendas below. 

Instructions for Public Comment

Regular commission meetings and public hearings include a designated time for public comment, typically at 9:00 a.m. during regular meetings. To respect everyone’s time, please limit your remarks to 3 minutes. The Board President will invite public comment at the appropriate time. If you are attending virtually, please use the “raise hand” feature in Microsoft Teams. Once recognized, state your name and provide your comment. This portion of the meeting is for public comment only. Questions will not be answered during the meeting, though PUD staff may be directed to follow up afterward.
