Help Bring Broadband to Your Neighborhood

Help Bring Broadband to Your Neighborhood

Would you like better internet?

Please take part in the “broadband challenge.”

It is a simple check of your service address against the Washington State Broadband Office’s map to verify the information & report inaccuracies.  Only 6 challenges per census block are needed.

The broadband website, map, & detailed information on how to participate is available online by using the link below.

Here is a quick summary on how to search and see if you should submit a challenge:

The first step is to find your location on the map by entering your address and clicking on the specific dot for your address. If your location is showing inaccurate service, for example it is showing your address as "served" and is highlighted green or "underserved", highlighted yellow, but you do not have any service, you can submit a challenge by either Taking a Speed Test or Reporting a Service Issue

  1. If you have internet, please “Take a Speed Test”.  Instructions on how along with a video tutorial are listed above. The test has to be done from a desktop computer or laptop (not a mobile device).
  2. If you don’t have internet and feel that the service provider listed for your address is incorrect or is showing inaccurate information, then “Report Service Issue”.
